Alpacor® is a new patent pending yarn type with special and unique characteristics created by the blending of Alpaca fibers with synthetic fibers in a combination resulting in the following blend of 83% micropoly and 17% Alpaca.
The Alpaca fiber is wrapped around an internal core of micropolyester . This blend provides strength, durability and allows for full machine washability, machine drying and complete anti wrinkling characteristics.
The characteristics of the resulting fabric are:
Lightest weight and most heat retentive of all natural fiber blends.
Softens in colder weather.
